Hospitals in three more regions of Ukraine will be able to operate even during blackouts
The Ukrainian charity foundation Energy Act for Ukraine has launched the construction of hybrid solar power plants in three medical facilities across the country. This is a critically important step that will enable hospitals to continue operating during blackouts and safeguard patients’ lives — even when Ukraine’s energy system faces its most severe challenges.

A modern hybrid solar power station has been launched at the Zakharivka Multidisciplinary Hospital in the Odesa region. The system can provide uninterrupted power to the surgical building even in the event of a complete blackout.

The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation took part in the international exhibition and conference ReBuild Ukraine 2025, which this year brought together over 6,000 participants from more than 34 countries in Warsaw. The event became one of the key platforms dedicated to Ukraine’s recovery, strengthening community energy resilience, and building new strategic partnerships.
