Editor-in-chief of Enlit Media. A journalist for more than 35 years, he has worked on regional, national and international newspapers plus international trade publications. He has covered the energy sector for more than 15 years and at Enlit sets the tone and direction for all editorial activities.

Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of IPSM Procurement & Supply Chain Professional; Academic Director of the CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Chain) program in Ukraine. A procurement professional with 20 years of experience. Has worked with companies such as DTEK, Darnytsia, Zhytomyr Butter Plant (TM “Rud”), SoftServe, Ciklum, Vodafone, the State Logistics Operator (DOT), Medical Procurement of Ukraine, Ukroboronprom, Interpipe, Metinvest Digital, UMG Industrial & Investment Holding, Kredobank, Ukrnafta, Ukrgasvydobuvannya, Ukrspyrt, Bel Shostka, Nova Poshta, the Veres Agro-Industrial Company, Samruk Energy, Kazakhmys, and SOCAR Azerbaijan. Has led transformation projects in marketing procurement, business travel, manufacturing industries, the food industry, and IT, and has implemented category management in procurement.

Founder and Principal of the American consulting firm GEM Advisory, LLC, and serves on the boards of leading industry organizations, including RE+ Events and the Solar and Storage Industries Institute. She is also a Co-Founder of Solar Sisters, a network dedicated to expanding career opportunities for women in the clean energy sector.  Prior to this, she served for nine years (2017–2026) as President and CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA). Under her leadership, the U.S. solar industry achieved historic growth, driving annual investments to over $70 billion. Abigail's extensive leadership background also includes tenure as Director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) and Director of the Maryland Energy Administration.  As a member of the Advisory Board of the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, she will strengthen the organization with her expertise in regulatory policy, international renewable energy development, and strategic management of large-scale energy projects. Specifically, Abigail Hopper will assist in:  - Implementing global best practices for renewable energy development in Ukraine;  - Strengthening strategic partnerships with international donors and industry leaders;  - Advancing international advocacy to support Ukraine’s energy resilience;  - Enhancing the strategic management of large-scale projects aimed at restoring energy infrastructure.
