Energy Act for Ukraine Wins Exclusive International Recognition Award at Women in Utilities Awards 2026

Ukrainian energy solutions have earned global acclaim. The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation has won the unique International Recognition Award at the prestigious Women in Utilities Awards 2026.

The international judging panel created this bespoke award specifically for the foundation. They took this exceptional step to honor the organization’s profound social impact, its vital role in advancing renewable energy, and its commitment to fostering inclusive leadership in Ukraine.

The awards, hosted by the Women's Utilities Network (WUN) and leading industry publication Utility Week, highlighted two of the foundation’s flagship initiatives:

• "100 Solar Schools" – transitioning schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure facilities to solar power backed by energy storage systems.

• Solar Step – an educational program designed to build capacity among Ukrainian youth and develop the next generation of renewable energy professionals.
