Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation donates over 1,000 solar panels to a community in Odesa region
Updated: 22 hours ago
Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation has donated 1,008 solar panels with a total peak capacity of 438 kW to a community in Ukraine’s Odesa region. The equipment is planned to be installed at a municipal utility provider that serves the needs of local residents.
The use of solar energy will help the utility reduce electricity costs, allowing the community to redirect the savings towards other priority needs. The donated equipment will also lay the groundwork for improving the energy resilience of municipal infrastructure amid power supply disruptions.
The donation is part of Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support Ukrainian communities and promote the use of renewable energy sources.
This initiative was made possible thanks to our partner Sunrock, which generously donated the solar equipment.
