Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation has become a laureate of the 19th National Contest "Charitable Ukraine – 2025: Charity on the Protection of Ukraine." The Foundation received recognition in the category "Charity in the Field of Ecology and Environmental Protection" for its systemic contribution to the development of green energy and improving the environment in Ukrainian communities.
Since its inception, the foundation's team has successfully implemented 36 solar projects in schools, hospitals, and water utilities. The primary goal of these initiatives is to strengthen the energy independence of critical and social infrastructure facilities amidst the war. The foundation's projects not only enable institutions to operate during blackouts and help communities save money on electricity but also deliver a significant environmental impact.
Over their projected 25-year lifespan, the installed solar power plants will reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 22,000 tons. This effect is equivalent to planting more than one million trees.
The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation team extends its heartfelt gratitude to our donors, partners, and friends for their tireless support. It is through our joint efforts that we are able to build an energy-independent, resilient, and eco-friendly future for Ukraine.
