45,000 participants, over 700 events, and 9 days of active discussions and experience sharing — the largest climate festival in Europe, London Climate Action Week 2025 (LCAW), opened its doors for the first time to the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation.

Now in its seventh year, LCAW brings together leading organizations addressing the challenges of sustainable development, renewable energy, environmental innovation, and social inclusion.

All the global issues discussed at this year’s event resonate with the mission of the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation. The charity organization actively implements renewable energy solutions in communities, by supporting the installation of hybrid solar stations in schools, hospitals, and water utilities. To date, 23 facilities have been completed across eight regions of Ukraine, not only contributing to the country’s energy resilience but also significantly reducing CO2 emissions.

The charity fund has also achieved remarkable results in its educational initiatives. A total of 1,754 children have completed the course "Sustainable Development and Green Energy," while its program for retraining Ukrainian women to become project managers in solar energy is opening new opportunities for women in what has traditionally been considered a "male profession."

“Attending London Climate Action Week, I was once again convinced that we are on the same wavelength as the rest of the world. “The goals set by the charity organization are relevant not only for Ukraine but are also part of the agenda across European countries,” said Yuliana Onishchuk, CEO & Founder of the Foundation. “Despite the war, Ukraine is showcasing a true example of energy transformation. However, achieving even greater results requires strengthening our cooperation with European partners.”

At the festival, the foundation held a series of productive meetings with representatives of leading companies, community leaders, and experts in renewable energy and environmental sustainability, laying the groundwork for new partnerships.
