Yuliana Onishchuk, CEO & Founder of the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, has been honoured with the National Award “Energy Efficient Ukraine 2025”, taking second place in the “Leader in Education and Communications” category. This recognition highlights the Foundation’s consistent and impactful work in energy education, sustainable energy development, and community engagement for real, practical change.
The “Energy Efficient Ukraine 2025” is a prestigious initiative that celebrates professionals and teams implementing effective solutions to improve energy efficiency, reduce resource consumption, and advance renewable energy at the community level across Ukraine.
The “Leader in Education and Communications” category recognises those who not only deliver energy-efficient projects, but also help shape public demand for change — by sharing knowledge, inspiring communities, and motivating people to act together. This approach lies at the very heart of the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation’s mission.
Under Yuliana Onishchuk’s leadership, the Foundation implements both educational and infrastructure initiatives — from installing hybrid solar power stations for schools, hospitals, and water utilities to delivering educational programmes on sustainable development for schoolchildren and training opportunities for women entering the solar energy sector.
This award reaffirms that education, effective communication, and an inclusive approach are key drivers of Ukraine’s energy transformation.
