Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation among winners of 100 gREen AWARD-2025

The «Solar Water Utilities» project has been honored with the 100 gREen AWARD-2025 by Global 100 RE Ukraine. The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation won in the category of «Best Social Project for Green Modernization of Water Infrastructure».
The Foundation’s initiative aims to enhance the energy independence of critical infrastructure – specifically water utilities – by implementing solar generation and energy storage systems. As part of the project, the Foundation constructed solar power plants for water utilities in the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Kirovohrad regions, ensuring a stable water supply even during power outages.
A key success story is the hybrid solar power plant in the Kirovohrad region, which guarantees uninterrupted water services for over 15,000 residents, even during blackouts.
The 100 gREen AWARD-2025 featured 18 projects demonstrating practical solutions in renewable energy, energy efficiency, bioenergy, and infrastructure modernization. Its goal is not only to recognize top cases but also to increase the visibility of solutions that are already shaping Ukraine’s resilient, decentralized, and energy-secure system.
This award highlights the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation’s contribution to developing practical green modernization solutions and scaling energy-resilient infrastructure across Ukraine.
The award ceremony was held with the participation of Ruslana Lyzhychko, the celebrated Ukrainian singer and prominent public activist.
