Energy Act for Ukraine begins cooperation with Menlo Electric S.A.

"We are extremely glad to partner with Menlo Electric and provide partial energy independence to Ukrainian schools and hospitals. Our projects 100RESforSchools and 50RESforHospitals aim not only provide the opportunity for facilities of social and critical infrastructure to function despite power interruptions but also create a basis for the sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine. “– Yuliiana Onishchuk, Founder of Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation

Menlo Electric S.A. is the fastest-growing photovoltaic distributor in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The company sells renewable energy solutions to more than 30 countries delivering over 50 MW of components each month, from 7 logistics hubs spread across Europe. Menlo Electric is currently a top 5 distributor of Jinko Solar and Risen Energy, as well as an official EU distributor of JA Solar, Sungrow, SolarEdge, FoxESS.

Energy Act for Ukraine and Menlo Electric joined forces for developing the construction of solar stations in Ukraine. The Foundation together with Menlo Electric will equip Ukrainian hospitals and schools with solar plants of a total capacity of 300 kW within the “100RES for Schools” and “50RES for Hospitals” campaigns. The first installations will be completed in the first quarter of 2023.

"In 2022, we launched our Energy To Power Your Future charity program with the mission to install free of charge PV installations for institutions that take care of children. Up to now, the program had 7 installations completed and in development across EU. Our cooperation with Energy Act for Ukraine increases that number to 17. We will be donating and transporting photovoltaic components for 10 schools and children`s hospitals in Ukraine. This will allow not only for the functioning of facilities cut off from electricity during the war but also will help them save on electricity bills after the war is over," said Bartosz Majewski, CEO at Menlo Electric.
