Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) conference in San Francisco

From June 20 to 22, Yuliana Onishchuk, the CEO of the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation, participated in the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) conference in San Francisco. The event was a significant platform for discussing contemporary trends and prospects in the renewable energy sector. The conference gathered experts, business representatives, and organizations worldwide to explore practical solutions for energy markets.

During the conference, Yuliana presented "Accelerating the Development of Renewable Sources and Storage Systems: An Overview of Solutions." Her presentation encompassed an energy review of renewable energy progress before the conflict. Discussions covered the impacts and consequences of the conflict on the energy system and the prospects for green energy development during post-conflict reconstruction.

An essential focus was placed on highlighting that renewable energy sources stand as the cornerstone of energy security and sustainable development. It was emphasized that we are in complete alignment with the President's vision regarding the trajectory of green energy development, as Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized during the Ukrainian recovery conference:

"When we discuss reconstruction, we discuss the creation of millions of jobs. What we build should not be subject to destruction. Protecting Ukraine equates to safeguarding freedom. Through Ukraine's restoration, we are constructing freedom."

At present, we are deepening our collaboration with participants of our initiative, including Menlo, KENO, Baywa.r.e, BSW, Unisolar, Deye, Foxess, and Solar Power Europe.

In partnership with these entities, the Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation aims to position our nation as an exemplar of a green future, contributing to ensuring energy stability and the well-being of our citizens.
