Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation helps children get a comfortable school education even during electricity outages and provides solar decisions to hospitals so people can get their medical care even in case of blackouts. Among our core values are accessibility to education and healthcare, energy independence, climate change response, and green energy education empowerment. 

Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation is implementing its campaigns all over Ukraine, working with local authorities, NGOs, activists, international donors, and partners. The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation is a proud member of Solar Power Europe and the Ukraine Energy Initiative of the UN Global Compact Network Ukraine. The foundation won the nomination “Green Energy Initiative of the Year” by the Emerging Europe Awards in October 2023. 

 

Our work is also concentrated on delivering the ideas and values of sustainable growth to schools – that’s why we initiated the “Sustainable Development” educational course for pupils in schools where we work. More than 2000 pupils in Kyiv and Chernihiv Region have already finished their “Sustainable Development” educational course and gained the knowledge that lets them become an inseparable part of their lives and will help us bring Ukraine's green transition closer! 

Our activity covers Ukraine, where 150 schools and 50 hospitals await the hybrid solar power plants providing education and medication in comfortable conditions. International media cover our work, and our team is working hard to tell our story to the world and bring more solar energy to Ukraine’s health and education institutions. The Ministry of Health and Education and Science supports our work.
