ENERGY ACT FOR UKRAINE FOUNDATION
Kryvyi Rih Central district hospital is a modern, multidisciplinary medical facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The hospital provides surgical care, rehabilitation after injuries, and limb prosthetics, serving both adults and children.
Over the past few years, the hospital has undergone a remarkable transformation — from the risk of closure to becoming one of the region’s key healthcare centers. In 2024 alone, more than 1,800 surgeries were performed here, and over 74,000 patients received medical care, including 14,000 in inpatient treatment.
For a hospital where surgeries are performed daily and high-precision medical equipment is in constant use, a reliable power supply is critical. The installation of a hybrid solar power station marked an important step toward the hospital’s energy independence and ensures uninterrupted operations even during power outages.
The hybrid solar power station installed by The Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation in autumn 2025 supplies electricity to the surgical department, enabling medical teams to work without the risk of equipment failure at the most critical moments.
Сонячна електростанція потужністю 30 кВт оснащена системою зберігання енергії ємністю 62,1 кВт·год, що дає змогу лікарні працювати автономно до 4 годин у разі повного відключення електроенергії. Прогнозована щорічна економія на електроенергії становить близько 6 658 євро, які лікарня може спрямувати на розвиток медичних послуг і навчання персоналу.
Сонячну станцію встановлено в межах проєкту «50 сонячних лікарень» фонду Energy Act for Ukraine Foundation. Будівництво СЕС реалізовано за підтримки Huawei Україна та є частиною співпраці фонду з GlobalGiving і LONGi.
